With the demand for energy continually on the rise no stone is being left unturned in regards to the search for and recovery of useful fuel commodities. Mining companies armed with new technologies are exploring new locations as well as revisiting some areas of the country that had been thought of as being consumed already or deemed to be too expensive for recovery efforts. These efforts are taking them to parts of the country that are owned by private land owners. Having access to accurate land ownership data and mapping features to assess location of infrastructure are critical.

The GeoPDF would allow for field reports to be generated, notes to be embedded in specific parcels, digital photos to be attached to parcels as well as giving the user real time Latitude/Longitude coordinates, GPS tracking and acreage measurement tools all from their laptop.
