Advertising Sales Representative
The Advertising Sales Representative is responsible for selling advertisements in our printed plat books/eBooks and on our company website. RMP advertising reps call on past advertisers as well as identify new business opportunities in a particular county. Additional responsibilities include promoting all of RMP's products, programs and services and securing plat book resellers as directed by management.
This position requires a detail oriented and organized professional with time management skills and the ability to work independently for successful pre-sale market planning and research. Excellent communication skills for in person meetings, telephone contacts and email and written correspondence and a working knowledge of office-related equipment/programs. Also requires follow through in collection and coordination of payments, invoices, ad contracts, ad copy and proofs; and reporting of sales activity and maintenance of customer records.
Currently looking for a qualified candidate in the Illinois/Wisconsin region - travel is occasional (25%) but necessary for the success of the sales.
This position is structured as an employee; salary plus commission with bonus opportunities for exceeding quota. Proven sales experience required. Familiarity with mapping concepts and/or software a plus.
