Advertising Sales Representative

The Advertising Sales Representative is responsible for selling advertisements in our printed plat books/eBooks and on our company website.  The position entails calling on existing customers to renew advertisements as well as approaching new customers and new markets in both the public and private sector.  Additional responsibilities include promoting all of RMP’s products, programs and services and securing plat book resellers as directed by management.  

 

This position requires a detail oriented and organized professional with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently for successful pre-sale market planning and research; meetings/sales presentations; collection and coordination of payments, invoices, ad contracts, ad copy and proofs; and reporting of sales activity and maintenance of customer records.

 

We are currently looking for a qualified candidate to maintain and further develop the Indiana/Ohio/Michigan region.  

 

This position is structured as an employee; salary plus commission with bonus opportunities for exceeding quota. Experience in sales required. Familiarity with mapping concepts and/or software a plus.
